The World Needs the Best Version of You: Stop Playing Small

Alum hello everyone and welcome to the 11th episode of the Baraka blueprint this is the podcast where we talk about balance between faith and focus to achieve truly lasting success I am your host ibraim and today we're going to change the theme a little bit because today's episode is going to be different is not just a reminder it is a wakeup call because we all out to realize something today's episode is about the following the world needs the best version of you not the version that is hiding not the version that is waiting for the right time and definitely not the version that says inshallah one day this umah needs the version of you that is sincere driven passionate and unapologetically driven so let's talk about that that in Baraka style let's look at the world that we're living in today it is loud it is chaotic and it's fast-paced everybody's building something Brands platforms legacies but what about us where are the Muslims Among Us that will lead innovate and inspire people now if you're listening to this and if you're still listening to this episode and you haven't scrolled away I can assure you you're different you're different because you already care you feel that you have this pull in your heart you're pulled to this question of how can I become the best possible version of myself if you hear that sound and if you feel that pull in your heart do not ignore it because this is God Almighty calling onto you Allah subhana wa T says in the 13th chapter of the Quran in the 11th verse Allah subhana T does not change a condition of a people lest they change the condition within themselves this um needs change this Muslim Nation needs a change our Muslim Society needs a change wherever we are collectively or even in our circles let's say scattered around Europe or the West now beside the fact that this umah needs this change crucially and vitally the umah cannot change before you and I change and you cannot change the umah without changing you one thing we keep repeating every single episode is the fact that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was the best example to Mankind and nonetheless to the Muslims Allah subhana T says for example indeed we left in the messenger of God the best example for you and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was the ultimate version of himself he was the best version of himself be IT professional Excellence social awareness emotional intelligence or even spiritual alignment he definitely was the best walk on earth he was the best to walk on earth with those characteristics so Excellence Oran is not just an option in our religion it is actually a Sunnah it is a Sunnah that is written on everything God Almighty wrote Perfection and Excellence on everything everything requires excellence and the best form of Excellence andan is of course in the worship of God Almighty there is even the Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam says God Almighty loves when a servant does an action or when he does something he does it perfectly and he does it with Excellence so this goes out to me and you the times when we're showing up be it to work or whatever in our projects or whatever it could be if we're showing up at 60% we're not showing up at a full 100% capacity or to those of you who are holding back because for some reason you're failing you're fearing failure or to you who keeps delaying the vision that Allah subhana tala set for you because you're waiting for the right time my word of advice to you is this you're not just holding yourself back you're depriving this Muslim umah from the best possible version you can be and the contributions you can make to this um now let's face it not everybody is meant to be famous not everybody is meant to be rich and not everybody is meant to lead a movements but everybody is a puzzle piece and a wheel to this turning Masterpiece what I mean by that is everyone is meant to matter so for example even if you are not meant to lead a revolutionary movement you could be meant to inspire your younger siblin to memorize that little bit more of Quran or build yourself to the point where you start a business to recruit Muslim Talent or like write something on social media that suddenly changes a person's life or better yet raise a child that becomes the next revolutionary and Visionary of the um and this connecting to our previous episode where we talked about Legacy this is how Legacy works because you never know the ripple effect of what the best version of you can create so what's stopping you fear procrastination doubt what is it because news flesh Shan thrives with your delay shaan's purpose and the devil's purpose is to inflict doubt and fear in your hearts so as we said before start small but start now be consistent with the habits you build be consistent with the bricks that you're laying for your for the foundation of your building even if it's one brick a day or one brick a week as long as it is consistent and as long as you start immediately so start that course you want wanted to give start that program you wanted to give send that application fix that whatever bad habit you're trying to fix and take your idea seriously because believe me the world nevertheless this Muslim um doesn't need another person playing it safe it needs a Muslim who is clear intentional and on
