FalafelKimchi is a Korean-Canadian content creator known online as Falafel Kimchi, who took his shahada at 20 after being raised Roman Catholic in a small Canadian town. He learned Arabic by studying fusha in Mauritania, including in desert village tents, and went viral on TikTok speaking Arabic after being laid off during the pandemic. Now based in Dubai, he runs a school community teaching Arabic with the mission of building an army of non-Arab Arabic speakers.
