The Ship Syllabus

The 90-day map from zero to your first monetizable product, built with AI.

Nobody can promise you an income. Not me. Not anyone. Anyone who guarantees you money is selling you a lottery ticket with your own hope as the price.

Here is what I can hand you: the exact map I follow myself. I left pharmacy, worked survival jobs, taught myself from YouTube, and shipped ugly work until someone paid me. Today I build apps, agents, and my own infrastructure with Claude Code. The barrier to entry has never been this low.

Follow this syllabus and you will ship your first monetizable product within 90 days. Something real. Something that looks good. Something you can put in front of a buyer.

Three rules before day one:

  1. 1.Build first. Every week ends with something shipped. If a skill is not needed for the build in front of you, it is not in this map.
  2. 2.Ugly counts. The person shipping ugly work is miles ahead of the one waiting to feel ready.
  3. 3.Set your niyyah. You are not chasing tech for the title. You are building with itqan, which is excellence and craftsmanship, because the work itself is worship.

The weekly rhythm: build five days, reflect one day, rest one day. Protect the rest. Burnout ships nothing.

Phase 1 · Days 1–14

Foundations

Goal: Your first shipped thing on the internet inside 14 days.

Week 1 · Set up and ship page one

  • Day 1–2: Install your toolkit. Claude Code (your builder), GitHub (your record), one deploy service (where your work goes live). Free tiers are enough. Do not research alternatives. Do not compare tools for a week. Install and move.
  • Day 3–5: Ship Project 0: your one-page personal site. Name, one line about who you are, links. Built by describing what you want to Claude Code and iterating. It will be ugly. Ship it anyway.
  • Day 6: Reflect. Write down what confused you. Those notes are next week's study list. You study narrow: only what the build needed.
  • Day 7: Rest.

Week 2 · Learn the loop

  • Build Project 1: a tool that solves one annoyance in YOUR life. A dua reminder. A prayer-times widget for your city. A tracker for anything you actually track. Small enough to finish in a week.
  • The skill you are actually learning: the loop. Describe → build → run → fix → ship. This loop is the whole career.
  • Ship it live by day 14. Show one person.

Phase 1 exit test: two things live on the internet with your name on them.

Phase 2 · Days 15–45

Reps

Goal: Three more builds, a portfolio, and proof you can do this repeatedly.

  • Project 2 (Week 3–4): an automation or agent. Make the machine do a chore you hate. Auto-sort something, summarize something, watch something and alert you. This is where you learn that AI tools are workers, not toys.
  • Project 3 (Week 5): rebuild something for someone else, free. A friend's CV site, a masjid page, a small business's broken landing page. Free work chosen by YOU is not exploitation, it is reps with a witness. You now have a testimonial.
  • Project 4 (Week 6): your portfolio page. All four builds in one place, each with two lines: the problem, the result.
  • All through Phase 2: post what you build. One post per ship, wherever you already scroll. You are not building an audience, you are leaving a trail of receipts.

Phase 2 exit test: a portfolio with four shipped things and at least one other human who used one.

Phase 3 · Days 46–75

The Product

Goal: Build the thing someone will pay for.

  • Week 7: Pick one real problem. Not an original idea. Not a startup. A small tool that solves one real problem for one real person. Look at your own life, your community, the free rebuild you did. What did people ask you for? Your first product does not need to be big. It needs one paying user.
  • Week 8–10: Build it with Claude Code. Scope so small it embarrasses you, then cut it in half. Make it look clean. Put a price on it. Wire the simplest payment link you can get in your country. Done beats perfect, and shipped beats both.

Phase 3 exit test: a product page with a price on it, live.

Phase 4 · Days 76–90

Ship and Sell

Goal: Put it in front of real people and have your first buyer conversations.

  • Show it to ten real humans from the niche it serves. DMs, communities, the people who followed your trail of receipts. Ask them plainly: would you use this, and would you pay for it?
  • Fix the top two things they trip on. Nothing else.
  • Launch it publicly on day 90: one honest post. What you built, who it is for, what it costs, what it took.

What happens after that depends on your effort and on what Allah has written for you. Rizq, your provision, is His. The work is yours.

The milestones (print this)

  • Day 5 · Project 0: personal site live
  • Day 14 · Project 1: your-own-annoyance tool live
  • Day 30 · Project 2: automation/agent working
  • Day 38 · Project 3: free rebuild delivered + testimonial
  • Day 45 · Project 4: portfolio live
  • Day 75 · THE product live with a price on it
  • Day 90 · public launch post + ten real conversations

Ninety days. Six shipped things. One product with a price.

A playlist has no end. This has a finish line.

Faith + execution. The blueprint.
