Project You
My own product, built and rebranded in public. A calm life-OS that begins at first light: a whole life in one quiet place, with the Qur'an beside your goals.
Ten loud apps. Faith left outside.
People carry a whole life in scattered apps. Goals in one, habits in another, the journal somewhere else, money in a fourth. Every one of them is loud, with streaks to defend and badges to chase. And the part that matters most, time with the Qur'an and the rhythm of the daily prayers, sits outside all of it, in yet another app that knows nothing about the rest of your life.
Aurora was cold. Noor is warm.
The first build was "Aurora", a premium, executive look in cool mauve. It was competent and it looked expensive. It was also cold, exactly the wrong feeling for an app you open at 6am on the day you have fallen behind. So I kept the engineering and swapped the soul. Noor (نور, Arabic for light) is the rebrand: warm dawn, faith-rooted, framed around the moment the day begins at first light. The token names never changed, only their values, so every screen recolored at once.
Premium. Executive. Cool mauve and an italic serif. It looked expensive and felt exclusive, which is the opposite of how a calm, faith-first app should feel.
Warm. Faith-rooted. Alive. Dawn light, a rounded voice, and one breathing orb. Same code, warmer heart, framed around the moment the day begins at first light.
One glowing orb. No face.

The signature is a single orb of light. It is the logo, the app icon, the loading state, and a breathing companion in the app, all at once. A warm sun by day, a calm crescent by night, so the sun is never out after dark. It has no face on purpose: warmth that never tips into a mascot.
Nunito runs the whole UI, Amiri sets the Arabic and the mushaf. Soft squircle cards, a recurring hill curve, a bespoke icon family, and zero emoji. One accent, and it means light.
One home for a whole life.
A dashboard that opens at your real time of day. Goals become weeks, weeks become a short list for today. Gentle habits, a journal, focus, health, finance, and a verse-by-verse Qur'an reader with reading tracking and khatm progress. Two hand-tuned themes, day and night, and never gamified.

Shipped with Claude, in public.
React, TypeScript and Supabase, with an on-device AI coach. The dawn art and the cover come from Higgsfield. The whole rebrand, all the screens, the new landing, and the in-repo design system were built fast with Claude Code multi-agent orchestration. Every project I build ships a design system in the repo that mirrors the live code. Project You is the reference build.
